
Before using the katha below to invoke Guman Thong, you should be fully proficient with Katha Wai Kru. An offering of flowers, 3 sticks of incense, and 1 pair of candles before the Buddha is mandatory. Bear in mind the virtues of the Buddha, Dhamma and the Sangha, as well as Luang Phor Guay, and recite the katha below.

This Katha is meant to show respect for teachers from the lineage of Luang Phor Guay, Phra Phrom, and all the teachers in charge of wicha, requesting them to come to your assistance, and bestow upon you the mental facilities to fully comprehend and memorise the Katha, as well as utilise it effectively.
After reciting the Katha, bow 3 times, touching your head to the floor each time.
Users are reminded to ensure that they are able to recite Katha Wai Kru flawlessly, before attempting to invoke other Katha from the Tamra. Users are also advised to attend the Wai Kru ceremony of Luang Phor Guay in Thailand.
