is a monk who is most famous for his Phaya Wanon amulets (Refer to our article on Phaya Wanon, Luang Phor Anan for more information). Luang Phor Anan was born on Thursday, 7th July, B.E. 2498, in the year of the Goat. He was given the name Anan by his parents. His family name was PreeCha. He is the 6th child among a total of 15 children, born to a household of farmers.
He was ordained as a monk on 3rd April B.E. 2518, at PathaSima , Wat Pimpawad
He learned Buddhism at Wat Pimpawad for one Pansa, before moving to Wat BangPleeNoi in the year B.E. 2519. There, he assisted and cared for Luang Phor Chim, who would later teach him the skills of sakyant, and an effective method of creating Kreung Rang Phaya Wanon amulets, which originated from the tamra of Luang Phor Ding, Wat BangWua.

In B.E. 2531, he was promoted to Phra GammWahJahJarn (1st Announcing Teacher) and in B.E. 2533, he was again promoted to Rong Zhao Awat (Vice Abbot) at Wat BangPleeNoi. In B.E. 2536, he was promoted to Acting Zhao Awat. In 2537, Luang Phor Chim passed away, but Luang Phor Anan was not officiated as the Zhao Awat of Wat BangPleeNoi until B.E. 2540.

, taught him the wicha of combining medicine with arcane spells using pearls. This unique wicha is called Kwad Ya
, a method of blessing incorporating elements of Thai herbalism. The person carrying out this blessing, will dab the specially-combined mix of pearl and herb powder with his fingers, and push it into the throat of the recipient, where he will then anoint it. His father also taught him wicha for Metta Mahaniyom and Kongkrapan Chatri
