TewaLok Chan Dusitpipob

Known as Tusita Heaven or the 4th level of Heaven, in the Realm of Sense & Desires. A realm where divine beings (devada) as well as some Bodhisattas resides. All Bodhisatta(s) due to become Buddhas also reside here before descending to Earth and attaining Buddhahood. The parents of the future Buddhas will also reside here, before descending to Earth to give birth to the Buddha.

While Gotama Buddha was residing in Tusita Heaven as a Bodhisatta, he was known as Setaketu (White Banner). The future Buddha to be, Metteya Buddha is presenty living in Tusita as Nathadeva (Protector), waiting for the right time to be born on Earth, and become the future Buddha.
