Nang – skin, napak -forehead, Suea – tiger.

It is believed that the ferocious, indomitable life force of a tiger is concentrated at its forehead; thus, amulets made from this forehead skin are believed to allow the user to instil fear in others, command respect, enforce authority and receive protection from enemies.
