Lek Lai

Lek Lai

A liquid metal imbued with mysterious properties. It is extracted using rituals by someone with a high level of virtue, and substantial knowledge of wicha. Practitioners of this wicha, use honey to draw the Lek Lai downwards, forming it into a thin thread, before cutting it. If a person with insufficient virtue tries to cut it, it is said that lightning will strike them causing injury, or they may experience an unbearably hot burning sensation upon contact with the Lek Lai.
