Keng Pen Lek

Termite nests found on the branch of coconut trees, which are harvested to make amulets. It is believed that the nests consist of many minerals that are good for storing energy, which is subsequently released during rituals. These nests are built by a specific, arboreal species of termite. It is much rarer than nests found on the ground, and it is believed that these will soon be extinct. It is particularly effective when consecrated into a Kreung Rang for Kongkrapan purposes.
