Chanuan refers to a mix of metallic alloys that are amalgamated with other ingredients and used to make amulets. Various metals are often combined, such as gold, silver, or metallic plates that have been inscribed with yant to imbue them with supernatural powers. During such a ceremony, select spells are often recited to enhance the potency of the resulting product.
