Boon Baramee 10 Tat
Boon refers to merit or virtue resulting from morality. It is believed that these merits (or their lack of) will affect the circumstances of one’s life. Baramee (the Thai word for Parami) 10 Tat refers to the 10 Parami.
These consist of: Dāna :generosity
Sīla : morality, virtuous conduct
Nekkhamma : renunciation, or detachment
Paññā : wisdom, insight
Viriya : vigour, effort
Khanti : forbearance
Sacca : truthfulness
Adhiṭṭhāna : resoluteness
Mettā : loving-kindness
Upekkhā : equanimity, serenity
